NEW YORK–One major card issuer has come up with a unique method to drive usage of digital wallets.
Chase, for a limited time last month, gave users an additional rewards point or percentage back if they made purchases with these eligible cards using Apple Pay or Google Pay: Chase Sapphire, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature, and Amazon Rewards Visa Signature.
The extra point or percentage is on top of what cardholders already earned by using those cards, NerdWallet reported.
