On Valentine’s Day, One CU Marking Its 65th Anniversary

CORRY, Penn.–Corry Jamestown Credit Union will celebrate its 65th birthday today. The credit union opened on Valentine’s Day in 1954.

To celebrate the anniversary, staff have been given 65-year anniversary shirts to wear today. The credit union will also be handing out Hershey kisses with 65th anniversary stickers to members on Valentine’s Day, according to the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association.

In addition, the $18.3-million CJCU has planned several celebratory promotions leading up to its annual Member Dinner Meeting on April 12, and will also be hosting a Mystery Dinner Theatre with many prizes and giveaways.

Corry Jamestown CU has approximately 3,000 members.
