ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Credit unions will get their first look at NCUA’s plans for a supplemental capital rule this Thursday at the agency’s open board meeting.
The NCUA board has slated an advance notice of proposed rulemaking on alternative capital for this week’s meeting.
In 2016 NCUA had stated it expected to have a supplemental capital proposal ready early in 2017.
Also on the agenda is a Board Briefing on the statutory inflation adjustment of civil money penalties.
