MOON TOWNSHIP, Penn.–Christa Harmotto Dietzen, an Olympian and World and NCAA champion in volleyball, visited the main office of Clearview FCU here.
Dietzen, who is from nearby Hopewell, Penn., is a long-time member of the credit union, as is her family. She was captain of the Olympic Women’s Volleyball team in Rio de Janeiro during this year.
During her visit to the credit union, Dietzen posed for photos and signed autographs for Clearview members, employees and their families after touring the facility. Also in attendance to greet the Olympian was the Girls Volleyball team from Moon Area High School.
“It was great to be able to introduce our team to one of their role models and get them excited for our season and for their entire volleyball careers,” said Sarah Durham, head coach of the Moon Area Girls Volleyball team. “Christa is such an inspiration to all athletes, especially our girls, and it was a pleasure to spend some time with her.”
Ralph Canterbury, Clearview’s vice president of marketing and technology, added, “Christa has really made our community and our Credit Union proud over the last few weeks and throughout her career. It means a lot that she would take some time out of her day to visit with our employees and her fellow members.”
