OCALA, Fla.–Ocala Community Credit Union has announced a new cost of living allowance (COLA) and minimum wage, among other staff benefits.
The $49-million credit union said its board has voted to give all employees a COLA allowance leading to a $2.10 per hour increase in their pay. The board also voted to increase minimum pay to $15 per hour.
The CU said it is not decreasing any of its benefits, which include:
- 100% SEP IRA contribution, with no matching required
- 100% paid health insurance w/Teledoc,
- 100% paid dental insurance
- Vision plan option for $5 per payday
- Short-term disability
- Casual Fridays
“Ocala Community Credit Union is pleased we can provide these wages and benefits to our employees, and we are proud to be a safe and sound credit union since 1953,” OCCU said.
The credit union has approximately 3,000 members.
