CORVALLIS, Ore.—OSU Federal Credit Union is changing its charter and its name.
Effective Jan. 1, OSU Federal will move to a state charter and change its name to Oregon State Credit Union. The credit union was founded in 1954 to charter employees of Oregon State University, which continues to be its core FOM. The $770-million OSU FCU has 82,000 members. It will now be regulated by the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services. Under the state charter, Oregon State Credit Union will serve 24 counties in the state.
