OAK RIDGE, Tenn.–To mark its 70th anniversary, ORNL FCU here said it will pay a special dividend to members.
The credit union’s board approved a $3 million payment to be paid on members’ average total loan and deposit balances between Jan. 1, 2018 and Sept. 30, 2018.
“In declaring the special dividend, the board noted that 2018 has been an exceptional year and, as a member-owned cooperative, the credit union shares its success with all the members who continue to make the credit union thrive,” ORNL said in a statement on its website.
The $2-billion ORNL was founded in 1948 to serve Oak Ridge National Laboratory,
