Nuvision CU To Honor Veterans With Free Gas, Breakfast

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.–Nuvision Credit Union plans to it serve active military and veterans a free tank of gasoline and free breakfast on Veterans Day.

Nuvision said it is seeking to thank and show gratitude to the men and women who have served the country. Veterans Day is Nov. 11.

The gas giveaway will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Beach Mobil, 16001 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Calif. Nuvision staff will fill-up one free tank of gas (up to 20 gallons per truck, automobile or motorcycle; no boats, RVs or commercial vehicles) for anyone with valid veteran or military identification.

At the same time, Nuvision will host a military breakfast down the street from the gas station at the Nuvision headquarters, 7812 Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach. During the breakfast Nuvision will present a $5,000 donation to Veterans First OC, an Orange County, California-based 501(c)(3) that provides housing and other services for veterans. "Nuvision Credit Union will proudly donate $5,000 to Veterans First OC, and will provide breakfast and gas on Veterans Day for those who served and continue to serve our country," said Nuvision CEO Roger Ballard. "Nuvision built a strong military membership over the years. Although our membership today is open to everyone, it is important to honor our history and show our appreciation to veterans and members of the military."

Radio station 104.3 MYfm personality Sean Valentine, host of the program "Valentine in the Morning," will be at the breakfast to provide music and live on-air reports, along with the MYfm Street Team.
