WASHINGTON–With the House busy this week attempting to pass legislation around the federal debt limit, and with the Senate focused on judicial nominations, there are numerous hearings this week on Capitol Hill that credit unions are watching.
In addition, both CUNA and NAFCU noted the House will also be marking up legislation around capital formation and a major CFPB reform bill, the CFPB Transparency, Accountability and Reform Act, which includes a number of credit union-favored provisions.
