NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Notre Dame FCU has expanded its field of membership to include the City of South Bend.
The expansion opens membership eligibility to both current and retired employees of the City of South Bend and their families.
According to the credit union, the City of South Bend has 1,100 eligible employees and represents the fourth largest city in Indiana. To become a member requires $5 deposit into a savings account.
“I thank Notre Dame Federal Credit Union for providing new opportunities for our hardworking public servants in the City,” said Mayor James Mueller. “It is important that we continue to show our appreciation to our dedicated employees and connect them to resources for them and their families to thrive.”
The $1-billion credit union has more than 60,000 members.
