ELIZABETHTON, Tenn.–Northeast Community Credit Union has launched a new “buy local, spend local” campaign for holders of its debit cards.
The $179-million NCCU said members who use their debit cards at local businesses are entered into a monthly drawing.
Fifteen winners will be selected. They will get a reimbursement of up to $25 for their purchase.
The approximately 13,000-ember Northeast Community has launched a microsite here that explains the offers and the local businesses that are participating, including restaurants, entertainment, health and beauty, retail shopping and more.
The site, which also includes a map showing participating businesses, said some of those businesses may offer discounts to members who use their NCCU card for purchases.
