AMARILLO, Texas–Halloween wasn’t frightening for everyone.
Sarah Votaw of The People’s FCU was selected as the winner of a 2017 Ford Mustang as part of the “Mustang Mania” fundraiser conducted by the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation.
The Foundation conducted a raffle to raise money for its three main initiatives: financial wellbeing, credit union development, and disaster relief for credit union staff and volunteers when disaster strikes.
Votaw’s name was selected during a drawing that was broadcast live on Facebook Live on the morning of Halloween.
In addition, two other winners were selected:
- Victoria Robbins with Southwest Financial FCU, who won diamond and tanzanite earrings from Diamonds Direct
- A Resource One Credit Union staff member, who won he $1,500 cash thanks to ePay
