LONDON–The BBC is running a series of short documentary reports called “A Matter of Life and Debt” that highlights credit unions.
The series is about “telling the stories of people whose lives have been transformed by an ethical loan.”
Among those featured are a couple who have opened a sweet shop and tea room, the story of two very different CU volunteers, and an episode that follows some loan applications at London Capital Credit Union.
