LONDON–How employers can partner with credit unions to address the financial stresses many of their employees are feeling is the subject of a new video released by the Association of British Credit Unions (ABCUL).
“Worrying about money affects the health and performance of millions of workers,” states an onscreen graphic. “Employers can help by working in partnership with credit unions. This reduces stress, increases productivity and costs very little. Everyone is better off.”
The video then features a number of employers talking about how they worked with their credit unions to help employees better deal with the financial problems they face. “Having a credit union can just help people to manage their financial lives a bit better,” says one HR executive.
