ALEXANDRIA, Va.–Credit unions will have the opportunity to learn more about the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and its implementing Regulation B during NCUA’S Feb. 28 consumer compliance webinar.
The topic will replace the discussion on prepaid account rules that was previously announced in January. The topic of prepaid account rules will be discussed in depth during a future NCUA webinar, the agency said.
The webinar will also have staff from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau discussing the requirements, implementation dates and which credit unions are now covered under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
The 90-minute webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern. Registration is open here. Registrants will use this same link to log into the webinar, and should allow popups from this website. There is no charge for the webinar.
