PANAMA CITY, Fla.–Navy Federal Credit Union has welcomed its 13 millionth member.
Helping the credit union to cross the threshold was Navy Seaman Brandon Galvan, who joined the credit union at its branch in Panama City.
“This is my first duty station and I thought it would be a good idea to open an account with Navy Federal,” said Galvan in a statement. Galvan stationed aboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) in Panama City.
To mark the milestone, Galvan received a thank-you card and a gift bag.
By far the largest credit union in the world, Navy Federal has more than $165-billion in assets.
