HOLLYWOOD, Calif.–The $1.7-billion First Entertainment Credit Union has made a change in president/CEO. Lisa Landt has been named to lead the organization. Landt previously served as EVP/COO/CSO.
Landt replaces Frank Wasson as president/CEO.
In a memo to First Entertainment employees from Chairman Howard Welinsky, the credit union said “the board is incredibly committed to the growth and stability of the credit union. We are successfully navigating a global pandemic. Unprecedented times offer us the opportunity to embrace the future while simultaneously doubling down on the work we do best…We have decided to elevate Lisa Landt to the position of President/CEO. Lisa is well equipped to guide the credit union into the future, and we are excited to start this new chapter with her in charge of daily operations.”
Welinsky said only that Wasson will be transitioning from his role” effective immediately.
Landt states on her LinkedIn page she has more than 17 years’ experience in performance-focused executive leadership, and more than 30 years’ experience in finance and accounting.
Wasson joined First Entertainment in June of 2016 after previously serving as COO at CBC Credit Union.
