NEW CUMBERLAND, Penn.–New Cumberland FCU has named a new president and CEO to succeed the retiring Don Varner, who is stepping down after 37 years.
The $231.8-million NCFCU has selected Ron Ferrance to lead the organization.
Ferrance has more than 35 years of experience in credit unions and financial services, beginning his career as a teller and most recently serving as CEO of Delaware State Police FCU.
‘Strong Believer’
“Ron is a strong believer in the credit union movement and intends to focus on serving the membership, promoting financial literacy, maintaining community involvement and political advocacy for credit unions,” NCFCU said in a statement.
Ferrance is a former board member of the Cross State Credit Union Association and former VP of the Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Lackawanna College.
