New Cryptographic Asset Developed by 7 U.S. Colleges

MENLO PARK, Calif.—Researchers from seven U.S. colleges have developed a new cryptographic asset called Unit-e.

According to the group, digital currency of the new generation will outrun Bitcoin and other analogues in terms of scalability, ICO Brothers reported.
“The developers are planning to create an asset and a decentralized payment network able to outrun global leaders – Visa and Mastercard – in terms of effectiveness of transfer processing speed,” ICO Brothers stated.

ICO Brothers said the scientists intend to launch a project dedicated to development of digital assets of a new format closed up under the aegis of a non-commercial research distributed technology research. The project, financed by Pantera Capital, will be ready for testing in the second half of 2019.

The minimum speed of transfer processing is planned to be10,000 transfers per second, ICO Brothers added.
