HOUSTON–New CEOs have been named at credit unions in Texas and Idaho.
Southern Federal Credit Union has named Shalonda Dawkins to lead the organization. Dawkins previously served as senior vice president/chief operations officer at United Community Credit Union in Houston, where she oversaw all credit union processes, including branch operations, human resources, marketing, card services, staff training, and the call center.
Prior to serving as SVP with UCCU, Dawkins was VP marketing and business development with the credit union. She has more than 15 years of management and operations experience in the financial services industry.
The $90-million Southern FCU has approximately 4,100 members.

New CEO At ISU CU
Separately, in Pocatello, Idaho, ISU Credit Union has selected Doug Chambers as its next president and CEO. Chambers is a Pocatello native with 13 years of credit union experience, having been with the credit union for five years, most recently as senior vice president.
ISU FCU has also named Amy Ciciliot as SVP/COO.
