TOLEDO, Ohio–One credit union has named a new CEO, while another has named someone to serve on an interim basis.
In Ohio, the University of Toledo FCU has named Greg Cook to lead the organization.
“UTFCU has a long-standing reputation for excellence in customer service, UToledo and community involvement,” Cook said in a statement. “I am honored to lead this outstanding organization and look forward to working with the talented team here to build on our success.”
Cook replaces interim-CEO Bev Trost, who has served since the passing of the 5,400-member CU’s former CEO.
Interim CEO Named
Meanwhile, in Dover, Del., Del-One FCU, the largest credit union in the state, has named Daniel McCarthy as its interim president and CEO, replacing Ron Baron, who is no longer with the institution as of Dec. 4. Baron had served as CEO since 2019, and was recently been named treasurer for the Springboard Collaborative, a nonprofit focused on ending chronic homelessness in Delaware, according to the credit union.
The $668.7-million Del-One noted it recently signed a memorandum of understanding on the Pallet Village project to provide ATM service and financial literacy programs to residents.
Prior Roles
McCarthy previously served as chief administrative officer, and had previously served as chief HR officer after joining the credit union in 2019.
Del-One said in a statement its board will evaluate all its options to fill the position permanently.
The credit union has approximately 81,000 members.
