OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.–True Sky Credit Union has named a new CEO.
The $588-million True Sky has selected Sean Cahill to succeed Steve Rasmussen, who is retiring this month after 26 years leading the credit union and more than 40 years overall in CUs.
Cahill has been serving as president of the $84.1-million Southwest 66 FCU in Odessa, Texas. As CUToday.info reported, earlier this year the Cornerstone CU League presented its 2018 Professional of the Year Award to Cahill during its annual meeting, recognizing his more than 30 years in credit unions and for overseeing strong growth at Southwest 66 FCU.
In a statement on its website, True Sky CU, previously known as FAA Credit Union, said of the retiring Rasmussen, “Steve’s leadership style and vision has been the catalyst for the credit union’s success,” said Julie Gamblin, vice president of human resources for True Sky. He leads by example with high ethics, virtue and strong character.”
True Sky serves more than 51,000 members.
