SWEETWATER, Fla.–Dade County FCU has introduced a new auto loan for educators that offers an annual two-month break from loan payments while schools are on recess during the summer and when many teachers are not paid.
The $1.3-billion DCFCU said it is offering the “Educator’s Payment Program” to “show appreciation to the thousands of hard working and dedicated teachers and faculty throughout Miami-Dade and Broward.”
The program offers loan rates are as low as 3.69% APR, in addition to the opportunity to skip two months of payments every summer for the life of the auto loan.
The loan offering comes at the same time the CU prepares to host a two-day car sale at its main branch in Miami.
“With a diverse range of vehicles from multiple dealers all conveniently gathered in one spot, educators can rely on a stress-free, no-haggle pricing car sale event,” the credit union said.
