VIENNA, Va.—Navy Federal Credit Union has overhauled its online shopping portal, renaming it Member Deals and increasing the ways credit card holders can earn rewards by making purchases through the site.
Navy Federal's portal makeover includes over 900 retailers with opportunities to earn as much as 15X points or 15% cash back, depending on the merchant, NerdWallet reported.
“At the end of the day we are all about giving our members more and making it easier for them to earn rewards,” Justin Zeidman, manager of credit card products for Navy Federal, told NerdWallet.
Rewards earned through Member Deals can be stacked with the existing earning structure of Navy Federal credit cards, even on the Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card, which doesn’t otherwise earn rewards on its own. The Member Deals site notes it could take up to eight weeks for earned rewards to post.
