MADISON, Wis.--The National Credit Union Foundation, the charitable arm of the U.S. credit union movement, has named its new 2026 board with the re-election of five board members and election of new member Steven Bugg, president/CEO of Great Lakes Credit Union, America's Credit Unions reported.
The new Foundation Board took effect on Jan. 1. The following individuals were re-elected:
- Melanie Kennedy, president/CEO, Southwest Financial FCU
- Greg Gallant, president/CEO, WeStreet Credit Union
- Creighton Blackwell, chief community impact and public affairs officer, Coastal Credit Union
- John Sackett, director, Royal Credit Union
- Jenny Vipperman, president/CEO, ORNL Federal Credit Union
New board member Bugg was an active member of the Foundation’s fundraising committee throughout 2025.
