WASHINGTON–The National Credit Union Foundation is reminding that the nomination period is open for the highest awards in the U.S. credit union community, the Herb Wegner Memorial Awards.
“Do you know an individual, organization, or program that has gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on the credit union movement? Nominate them…” the Foundation is urging.
Nominations can be made in two categories:
Outstanding Individual Achievement
The award honors individuals dedicated to promoting the credit union philosophy. These individuals have created innovative concepts and provided leadership that has had a significant and lasting impact on the local, regional, national, and/or international credit union movement with measured results.
Outstanding Organization or Program
The award honors an organization, program, or business dedicated to creating innovative concepts, products, and services that have had a significant impact on the local, national, and/or international credit union movement with measured results.
The deadline for submission is Friday, July 28, 2023, at 6 p.m. ET. The Foundation said those making nomination should ad return the Herb Wegner Memorial Award Nomination Packet.
