National CU Foundation Releases Impact Report Highlighting Its Contributions During 2022

MADISON, Wis.– The National Credit Union Foundation is reporting its new Impact Report shows it helped credit unions navigate the modern-day challenges of growing membership, managing risk, retaining talent and developing a mission-driven culture in 2022.

According to the Foundation, the charitable arm of the U.S. credit union movement provided the support through grant initiatives, system-leading education and events, resource development and disaster relief—delivering on its mission to serve as a catalyst to improve people’s lives through credit unions.

The Foundation said the Impact Report provides greater detail of the organization’s far-reaching activities, including:

  • Its signature Development Education (DE) program that celebrated a 40-year milestone in 2022
  • The CU FinHealth financial well-being event, hosted in partnership with the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues and the Cornerstone League
  • How almost $600,000 of disaster relief supported over 1,000 credit union employees and volunteers through the CUAid program.
