MADISON, Wis.–Credit union development educators, or CUDEs, are participating in a day of service in a variety of ways across the country and the world today.
The DE program is offered by the National Credit Union Foundation.
Among the efforts:
- Staff of the National CU Foundation in Madison, Wis., along with other CUDEs in the market, will be working on a house for a low income family in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County.
- In Washington, NCUF Director Gigi Hyland will be gathering CUNA staff for a Principles and Philosophy Session.
- In the Pacific Northwest, a group of CUDEs will be working at a food bank.
- In Florida, one CUDE will be working with a kindergarten teacher to prepare lesson plans for her students.
