LEINSTER, Ireland–Naas Credit Union here has changed its name.
During its annual meeting, members OK’d a name change to Life Credit Union.
The name change follows an expansion of the credit union’s operations into Maynooth and Newbridge, Ireland.
Board Member Rioghnagh Bracken told the Leinster Leader the new name is more user friendly and more likely to be used by new and existing members, especially young people. Bracken also said approximately 450 members responded to a call from management to put forward alternative names to Naas CU.
