ALEXANDRIA, Va.—NCUA said it will be introducing a new email newsletter aimed at sharing more information about financial literacy.
The Financial Literacy & Outreach Newsletter will focus on consumer finance and education and will include insights on data and ways to enhance financial education programs, according to the agency.
NCUA said newsletter will also focus on:
- Building awareness about credit unions
- How to start and maintain checking and savings accounts
- Understanding consumer rights as they relate to property appraisals and housing discrimination
- How to build and maintain credit
- Cryptocurrency and digital assets
- Identifying fraud and scams
