WASHINGTON—NCUA is partnering with the CDFI Fund to host a webinar Jan. 23 on Treasury Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund grant opportunities.
Registration is now open for “Grant Opportunities from the CDFI Fund,” scheduled for Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. ET, America’s Credi Unions noted.
The CDFI Fund’s Small Dollar Loan Program helps provide alternatives to high-cost small-dollar loans. The Bank Enterprise Award Program provides community development financing and service activities for the most economically distressed communities, ACU noted.
CDFI Fund staff will explain in detail how credit unions can benefit from both programs at the webinar. The webinar is free and provided with closed captioning. It will be accessible on the NCUA’s Learning Management System following the live event, ACU said.
