WASHINGTON–NCUA said a two-day Minority Depository Institution (MDI) Forum taking place at the Treasury Department and NCUA on March 3 and 4 is open to credit unions on a first-come, first-served basis.
NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood will be hosting the event and will lead what the agency called an “intimate conversation” with Calvin Harris, chief financial officer of the National Urban League, as well as relevant industry stakeholders and the MDI attendees.
According to the agency, Hood is inviting MDI credit unions to take part in the discussion, to attend the chairman’s reception at the conclusion of the event, and to participate in an MDI training session the next day at the NCUA’s headquarters in Alexandria, Va.
