NCUA Rescinds 12 Job Offers To Comply With Trump Hiring Freeze

WASHINGTON—NCUA has rescinded 12 job offers to comply with a government-wide hiring freeze implemented by President Trump.

The agency declined to comment on the classifications of job offers that were pulled back.

As CUToday.info reported, the FDIC has rescinded job offers to more than 200 new examiners due to the hiring freeze.

The NCUA’s final budget for 2025 is $395.4 million.

The 2026 combined budget is $419.5 million and 1,263 positions—$49 million and nine positions lower than the 2026 staff draft budget (See key adjustments below).
