ALEXANDRIA, Va. –NCUA has opened registration for a webinar on serving the Hispanic market at a National Credit Union Administration on Oct. 19. The event will begin at 2 p.m. ET.
According to the agency, panelists from Coopera and Inclusiv will “share success stories and tips on developing a strategy to serve the growing Hispanic community.”
The webinar will also include information about the credit union diversity self-assessment.
Natasha Hewlett, NCUA credit union diversity program manager, will provide a brief overview of the CU diversity self-assessment and introduce the panel session “Serving the Hispanic Market.” The panel will include moderator Victor Corro, CEO, Coopera Consulting; Rene Vargas Martinez, director, Puerto Rico Network, Inclusiv; and Pablo DeFilippi, SVP membership development and networking engagement, Inclusiv.

The webinar will be closed captioned, and there is no charge. Participants will be able to log in and view the event on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website, NCUA said.
