NCUA Issues 3 Prohibition Orders

ALEXANDRIA, Va. –NCUA has issued three prohibition notices against three people, permanently prohibiting them from participating in the affairs of any federally insured depository institution.

Issued the prohibition notices were:

  • Amy Bradley, a former employee of Citizens Credit Union and First Community Credit Union in Jamestown, N.D. Bradley has similarly been issued an order of suspension by the North Dakota Department of Financial Institutions for what it alleged were “acts of commission, or omission, or practice which is a breach of trust of a breach of fiduciary duty.” According to the DFI, Bradley pled guilty to Theft of Property, a Class A felony; Misappropriation of Entrusted Property, a Class A felony, and Theft of Property, a class B felony.
  • Whitney Phillips, a former employee of Mississippi Central Federal Credit Union in Morton, Miss.
  • Melissa Velazquez, a former employee of Financial Resources Federal Credit Union in Bridgewater, N.J.

NCUA noted enforcement orders and notices are searchable by name, institution, city, state, and year on its Administrative Orders webpage. The webpage also provides links to the federal enforcement actions of federal banking agencies against other institutions or their affiliated parties.
