MINNEAPOLIS–NCUA’s 2024 DEI Summit will kick off today here.
The event, themed “DEI: Here to Stay will explore the “value proposition of diversity, equity and inclusion in the credit union industry and at the NCUA,” the agency said.
It will also include the sharing of best practices, develop solutions to industry-specific challenges, and offer networking opportunities, according to NCUA.
The event, at the Hilton Minneapolis, will run through Thursday.
Among the workshops and sessions on the agenda:
- Sustaining DEI Through Supplier Diversity
- Sustaining DEI With a Diverse Board
- Inclusive Innovation: Developing Products and Services for All
- Sustain DEI Through Developing Your DEI Strategic Plan
- Overcoming DEI Fatigue
- Bank Your Bottom Line: The Business Case for Sustaining DEI
All three NCUA board members will address the meeting.
