ALEXANDRIA, Va.—A request for comment on its Overhead Transfer Rate (OTR) methodology will be issued Thursday during NCUA’s open board meeting, according to the agenda just released by the agency.
The OTR has been a long-time point of disagreement/debate between NCUA and the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS). NCUA uses the OTR to determine how much in funds to transfer from the National CU Share Insurance Fund to its budget to cover the costs related to supervising state-chartered CUs.

- NCUA’s 2024-2025 budget
- Central Liquidity Facility’s 2024 budget
