ARLINGTON, Va.–The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) said it will host a Cannabis/Hemp eSchool on June 9 and 11.
The event is being held in conjunction with Deirdra O’Gorman, Founder and Principal of DX Consulting,
Cannabis remains illegal under federal law, but since 2012 15 states and Washington, D.C., have legalized marijuana for adults over the age of 21, while 36 states have legalized medical marijuana.
NASCUS said the eSchool will cover:
- Recent regulatory updates
- How businesses are evolving
- What financial institutions should be thinking about for their cannabis and hemp banking programs
- Business payments
