NASCUS State Summit Becomes Virtual Event; Registration is Free

ARLINGTON, Va.–The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) said its annual State Summit will now be held virtually, and there will be no charge.

The meeting will be held Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. ET. It had originally been scheduled to take place in New York City, August 11 - 14.

“While we are disappointed that we will be unable to convene credit union regulators and practitioners in-person for the annual State System Summit, the virtual Summit will provide us with the opportunity to connect with State System stakeholders and offer timely education content without sacrificing the personal health and safety of participants,” said NASCUS President and CEO Lucy Ito and Vice President of Education Isaida Woo in a joint statement. “The virtual Summit will feature the NASCUS Annual Meeting and a session presented by long-time credit union analysts and leaders John Lass and C. Alan Peppers that will provide attendees with tools to plan for the future despite the uncertain impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Registration for the NASCUS State System Summit is open.
