ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors has announced election results for its NASCUS Regulator Board and Credit Union Advisory Council.
Re-elected to the NASCUS Regulator Board were Steve Pleger, senior deputy commissioner with the Georgia Department of Banking & Finance, and Janet Powell, manager of the Credit Union Program with the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services. Both were elected to three-year terms.
Members of the NASCUS Regulator Board are elected by regulator members of NASCUS, made up of all state credit union regulatory agencies across the nation.
Re-elected to three-year terms on the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council were Rick Stipa, CEO of TruMark Financial Credit Union in Pennsylvania, and Brian Wolfburg, president/CEO of VyStar Credit Union in Florida.
Members of the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council are elected by member credit unions, which are mostly state-chartered credit unions from across the nation. The Council advises the Regulator Board on issues of importance to credit unions.
