NASCUS Adds New Member to Regulator Board, Re-elects 2 to Advisory Council

ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS)  has added  a new member and re-elected two current members to its Regulator Board.

The organization’s Credit Union Advisory Council also re-elected two current members. The members will be seated at the upcoming NASCUS virtual Annual Meeting on August 26.

Elected to the NASCUS Regulator Board was Katie Averill, superintendent of the Iowa Division of Credit Unions,, joining re-elected Rose Heston Conner, administrator of the North Carolina Credit Union Division, and Charles Vice, commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions. All three were elected to three-year terms.

Members of the NASCUS Regulator Board are elected by regulator members of NASCUS, comprised of all state credit union regulatory agencies across the nation.

Re-Elected to Three-Year Terms

Re-elected to three-year terms on the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council were Jason Boesch, manager of Energize Credit Union in Oklahoma City, Okla.,  and Mike Ryan, senior vice president and general counsel with BECU in Tukwila, Wash.

Members of the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council are elected by credit union members of the Council, which are mostly state-chartered credit unions from across the nation. The council advises the Regulator Board on issues of importance to credit unions.
