NAFCU To Host Virtual ‘State of the Industry’ Event

ARLINGTON, Va.–NAFCU said it will host a virtual event titled, “State of the Industry,” on June 25 that it said is designed to equip credit union leaders with the data, trends, and takeaways needed to make the urgent decisions necessary to keep their operations running amid the coronavirus pandemic and to help them plan for the future.

The virtual event will provide credit union leaders with an easy, convenient way to gain insider insights on the current and future state of the credit union industry, without having to travel, NAFCU said.

The keynote speaker will be Jim Marous, co-publisher of The Financial Brand and owner and publisher of the Digital Banking Report, will discuss priorities for credit unions in a post coronavirus world. 

The Takeaways

NAFCU said key takeaways will include:

  • Exploring new and upcoming trends with a full economic overview that examines lending, consumer spending, and other critical indicators
  • Analyzing how trends will impact their credit union, and how to adjust strategic planning to position their institutions to power through the pandemic
  • Gaining clear, concise insights on the current and future state of the industry with updates from NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and the association's regulatory compliance and government affairs teams
  • Engaging in real-time polling to drive discussion and address what's top-of-mind for credit union decision makers nationwide
  • Connecting with peers to share ideas during a virtual networking opportunity

The virtual event is complimentary, but registration is required to attend. NAFCU said.
