WASHINGTON—NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Greg Mesack, and Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler have been recognized as top 2022 association lobbyists by The Hill.
This year marks Berger’s 20th consecutive year of being recognized for his “robust efforts advocating on behalf of the credit union industry.” Thaler has been named to the list for 15 consecutive years.
“NAFCU fought several legislative and regulatory battles to ensure credit unions have a voice in Congress this year,” stated Berger. “This level of recognition reaffirms all the impactful advocacy efforts NAFCU, our Board of Directors, devoted members, and incredible staff conduct on behalf of credit unions so they can best serve their 134 million members.”
CUNA Leaders Also on List

Nussle and Stverak were commended for demonstrating, “a track record of success in the halls of Congress and the administration during a critical year for policy.”
