ARLINGTON, Va. – NAFCU said it has launched a new member-only online community, the NAFCU ONES + CFPB Supervision Network.
The network for credit unions regulated by ONES (the abbreviation for NCUA’s Office of National Examinations and Supervision) and the CFPB is for the largest CUs.
NAFCU noted the new network joins the association’s seven other online networks, which are offered to member credit unions at no additional cost and span a variety of credit union professions, including human resources, lending, compliance, CFOs, marketing, cybersecurity and IT, and CEOs.
“NAFCU is committed to helping credit unions grow stronger by providing them with the resources and tools they need to succeed,” said NAFCU Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone. “With that in mind, NAFCU is proud to launch our newest online community – the ONES + CFPB Supervision Network. As institutions grow and reach new thresholds of examination, the NAFCU team developed this exclusive, member-only network to bring credit union leaders together to discuss the CFPB and NCUA examination processes, expectations, and best practices.
About the Network
NAFCU said the ONES + CFPB Supervision Network gives participants access to:
- Active discussion threads and knowledge exchange with peers
- Behind-the-scenes insights from NAFCU staff and industry experts
- A member directory of fellow NAFCU member credit union professionals to connect with
The association added participation in the network is limited to the specific role/function to keep the focus on topics and networking most relevant to supervision and examinations.
