DENVER – NAFCU is hosting its inaugural Risk Management Seminar here this week at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
“There is a constant threat of internal and external risks facing credit unions, so now is the perfect time for industry professionals to gain a better understanding of how to properly manage them,” said NAFCU Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone. “Attendees are learning about the latest trends in risk management and what other credit unions around the country are doing in this area. They’ll leave with the knowledge they need to create and implement a risk management program that meets NCUA expectations.”
NAFCU’s Risk Management Seminar, sponsored by NAFCU Services Corporation, is open to every credit union professional.
Speakers this week include NCUA Director of Examination and Insurance Larry Fazio, who will be discussing seven types of risk, and Keith Morton, NCUA’s Region IV Director.
