LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla.–NACUSO presented a number of awards during its Network Conference here.
The winners included:
New CUSO of the Year Award: Pulsate
The award is based on five criteria: thought leadership; innovation and organizational design; value created through use of collaboration; implementation/execution, and results and outcomes. There were eight candidates.
Ireland-based Pulsate partners with more than 170 CUs in the United States and is a member engagement tool to provide member centricity and a way to “win in a mobile first world.” It also helps credit unions to create an emotional connection with members and remind them CUs are there to help when they need it, according to a video played as part of the award.
CUSO of the Year Distinguished Service Award: Envisant
Envisant, a unit of the Illinois CU system, was recognized for “providing remarkable support and exceptional service to their credit union partners since 1988 and contributing to the growth and success of the credit union industry.”
The company was also recognized for its support of smaller credit unions.
CUSO of the Year: Distinguished Service Award: PSCU/Co-op Solutions
The newly merged company was recognized for its “pivotal role” in shaping the future of the credit union movement. PSCU also won the award in 2016.
In remarks accepting the award, Dean Young, chief service officer with PSCU/Co-op Solutions, noted that it was 45 years ago that five credit unions formed PSCU because they couldn’t do it alone is a demonstration to other CUSOs of what they can grow to be.
