MIDDLETOWN, Penn.–Vizo Financial’s annual Hot Dog Eating Contest for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals will return for its 10th year today.
The event will return for its 10th year on July 19.
“It's about so much more than hot dogs,” Vizo Financial said. “Sure, it's a fun event, and who doesn't love a good hot dog eating contest? But the magic is really in the miracles we create by raising money for Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. It's about giving the young patients there more resources to receive the ultimate gift.”
According to Vizo Financial, over the past 10 years the Hot Dog Eating Contest has hosted more than 70 contestants who have eaten a combined total of more than 180 hot dogs and raised $46,000 for CMN Hospitals at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Penn.
There are three levels of sponsorship available.
Contestants will compete virtually on July 19, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. ET through an online video conference platform.
Gifts Can be Won
This year, three competitors will receive a $100 gift card prize for being the winner in three categories.
- The Top Dog, to be awarded to the contestant who can consume the greatest number of hot dogs in five minutes.
- Hot Diggity Dog, to be awarded to the contestant who shows the most spirit for the contest.
- Rollin' In The Dough, to be awarded to the contestant who raises the most money for CMN Hospitals at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
