DENVER–The Mountain West Credit Union Association has announced what it is calling an “Advocacy in Action” experience in collaboration with CUNA’s virtual GAC in March.
The event series will include meetings with legislators and regulatory agencies, as well as collaborative events to bring uniquely relevant and engaging content to the region’s membership across a virtual platform, the MWCUA said.
The MWCUA events will be held separately, but in conjunction with the 2021 GAC and, due to the virtual format, MWCUA members do not need to be registered for the CUNA GAC to participate in the regional Hike visits and events.
“With this year’s event being held virtually, we are able to offer our regional delegation meetings to a wider, yet still targeted, group of our membership,” said Scott Earl, president and CEO of MWCUA. “We will be hosting a variety of opportunities for our members to engage in topics of importance, along with some events designed for collaboration and networking.”
Related events will be announced over the next few weeks and via the MWCUA app, social media and other outlets.
