WASHINGTON—Twenty-six CEOs from credit union leagues across the county are in Washington this week to discuss a number of issues with CUNA and to plan for the future.
“These leaders represent almost 4,000 credit unions and they have a bold agenda this week,” said CUNA COO Rich Meade.
The group will address current and future advocacy issues on the national and state level, addressing matters such as the growing data breach problem.
“They will talk about putting together a bold new agenda for the next Congress, discuss compliance solutions, and address efforts to better communicate the credit union difference in some kind of consumer-facing awareness campaign,” said Meade.
