More Than 300 CUs Participated In CMN Miracle Jeans Day Fundraiser

SALT LAKE CITY–More than 300 credit unions across the country “went casual for kids” during this year’s Miracle Jeans Day event to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.

According to Children’s Miracle Network, CU professionals at 334 participating CUs donated $5 to wear jeans as part of the annual event. Additionally, some employees contributed an additional $25 to receive a free Miracle Jeans Day t-shirt designed especially for the event.

Credit unions traditionally are the largest contributor among Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals corporate partners, CMN noted. All CMN Hospitals donations stay in the community in which the money was raised. The funds support each hospital’s greatest needs, which include life-saving research, treatments, equipment and charitable care.

The next CU4Kids campaign on the schedule is Shop for Miracles which will be celebrated on International Credit Union Day, October 20.  For more details, visit www.cu4kids.org/shopformiracles
